As for the first question, the reason is kinda funny. You see, before anything else, I have always been into mystery stories and Visual Novels. My online bestie knows this because the reason she got into Themis is more or less the same. Also, she knows that if she recommended something, I would check it out. Therefore, she was like "Lacie, there is this game...." and she dangled me with Themis's main story HAHAHAH So yes, my first otome is CN otoge, which is Themis XD Albeit I won't say I am into Otome games in general, it's more like I like reading stories and some of it just happens to be Otome wwwAs for the second... tbh no particular reason HAHAHAH Like I said, Themis was recommended to me and I just like reading in general, albeit I think what's fun about live service games is that technically an endless story until it decided to EOS (this can be good or bad, depend) but since I enjoy FFXIV stories a lot, my appreciation for live service game story telling seem to be higher than before and it's fun to watch your faves characters and ships relationship grows in general.  I do love single-purchase games, though, because it's like reading a book that has already been finished.  Everything is already set by the writer, and we just need to find out by ourselves. (Me doing Hades run over and over again and going through FFXV wwww) And for the third question, I honestly don't feel right commenting on the genre as a whole, considering I only play two otoge seriously and it's the live service ones (I mean, there was lysk but i decided as thing I will return only occasionally when li shen or qin che stuffs interest me enough LOL). Thank you! I am glad people do enjoy it because I have to fight with Photoshop (hyperbole) every time I make one XD, and sorry if the answer to your questions is not satisfying hahahah

1-what got you into otomes in general /if tot wasn’t your first what was:0

2-is there anything that makes you prefer gacha otome over single purchase(vice versa if the opposite ofc)

3-are there any common complaints you end up having when you play otomes
